TANAHUN, Dec 10: Nepali congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has lost to UML Candidate Krishna Kumar Shrestha in the House of Representatives with more than 6,000 votes in Tanahun-1.

CPN-UML leader Kishan Kumar Shrestha 'Kisaan', a candidate from Left Alliance, has defeated to NC veteran Poudel by 6, 414 votes.
Winner Shrestha secured 34,489 votes while his rival candidate Poudel has obtained 27,675 votes.
