The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Sapkota of Melamchi-6 in Sindhupalchowk district. He was Melamchi Town president of Nepal Tarun Dal.
The accident took place when a bus, Ba 3 Kha 5667, heading towards Kathmandu from Sankhu hit the motorcycle, Ba 70 Pa, coming from opposite direction.
Assistant Sub-Inspector at the Metropolitan Police Sector, Bouddha, Ganesh Shrestha, said that the pillion rider Gokul Sapkota was undergoing treatment at Bansbari-based Neuro Hospital. RSS
