The deceased is identified as Bishnu Prasad Dahal, 24, of Prithivinagar-7 in the district, according to the District Police Office, Birtamod.[break]
The accident took place when a bus (Na 4 Kha 7244) hit the motorcycle at Buttabari in Jhapa district along the East-West Highway.
He died while undergoing treatment at Birtamod-based Manmohan Memorial Hospital at 8:45 am.Police have arrested the bus driver and impounded the bus.
