PALPA, Feb 9: An eight-year-old girl and 17 year- old- girl died after being knocked down by vehicles in separate incidents here Wednesday.
Sabina Bagale of Kusum Khola-8 in Palpa died on the spot when a school bus (Lu 1 Kha 1130) fatally hit her while she was trying to cross the road at Gohadi, Khusum Khola, according to the District Police Office, Palpa.

Meanwhile, a teenage girl, who was a pillion rider, breathed her last on the spot when a tractor (Na 2 Kha 5714) rammed her at Khairahani, Chainpur in eastern part of the Chitwan district.
The deceased has been identified as Sabina Pun, 17, of the same district, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan. While the motorcycle rider has sustained minor injury, the tractor driver has been absconding following the accident. RSS
