Arjun Acharya, the local correspondent for the Himalayan Television, had died while undergoing treatment at the hospital on July 11.[break]

Doctors and medical staff at the hospital have closed all services there except the emergency service demanding security of life after a clash between relatives of the deceased journalist and doctors.

The relatives of the deceased journalists are demanding compensation, stating that Acharya died due to the negligence of the doctors. However, Dr. Jeevan Pariyar refutes this allegation and through a press release accused some media of character assassination by disseminating news about the death of journalist Acharya in a biased manner.

Dr. Pariyar has said all services save emergency at the hospital have been closed until their security was guaranteed.
