Karna converted Bishal Rai's cross in the 52nd minute to guide the A Division Club, Jhapa, to the final with a 1-0 win over host Dhankuta.Jhapa will play the final against the winner of the second semifinals to be played between Boys Union Club and Fans Club BRC of Bhutan on Friday.
Jhapa had missed a number of chances throughout the match.
In the first half, Jhapa missed two clear chances to take the lead after Ganesh Khadka's powerful shot was cleared by Dhankuta's Bishal Rai B, and Ganesh's another shot hit the bar.
Dhankuta goalie Kiran Chemjong denied Karna and Buddha Chemjong on many occasions.
On the other side, host Dhankuta adopted defensive approach and created less chances against mighty Jhapa.
Dhankuta's Sedric Aba wasted two golden opportunities in the first half, failing to convert in the 23rd and 29th minutes. Likewise, Deepak Rai's shot was cleared by Jhapa defenders.
Sujal Shrestha, Bartman Rai and Bishal Rai B were denied by Jhapa gloves man Dipesh Thapa.
Elated with the victory, Jhapa Coach Bhagirath Ale commented that his side won the match due to proper team coordination and players' dedication.
Dhankuta Coach Suman Shrestha lamented that his players failed to play up to the mark and were weak in foiling the opposition strikers.
Jhapa's karna Limbu was adjudged man-of-the-match.
