KATHMANDU, Feb 3: CPN-UML Vice-Chairperson Prithvi Subba Gurung has indicated the possibility of collaboration among some political parties in some constituencies in the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) election.
Gurung said political parties generally are contesting separately in the March 5 election, but there might be an alliance between some parties in some places.

At a programme organised by Press Chautari Nepal here today, he argued that the UML would become the largest party based on its policy and ideologies.
Responding to a query about the issue regarding discussion between the CPN-UML Chairperson, KP Sharma Oli and Chairperson of Nepali Communist Party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal for alliance in the election, the UML Vice-Chairperson opined that though the UML has not made any decision about alliance so far, discussion as well as all things are possible in politics.
He clarified that an alliance with the NCP is not possible unless they share similar opinions regarding the September 8 and 9 incidents.
Leader Gurung shared that the UML would unveil its election manifesto soon for the election, incorporating the issues of improving the party's performance.
