Judo team off to Russia

KATHMANDU,July 4: A three-member judo team, including two players, on Monday left for Yakutsk city of Russia to take part in the Sixth Children of Asia International Sports Games to be held from July 5 to 17.

KATHMANDU,July 4: A three-member judo team, including two players, on Monday left for Yakutsk city of Russia to take part in the Sixth Children of Asia International Sports Games to be held from July 5 to 17.



Roshan Dong will play men's 55kg, while Sarada Kumari Khatri will vie for women's 48kg event.



Mohan Sunuwar is the coach.



Meanwhile, National Sports Council Member Secretary Keshab Kumar Bista also left for Russia as the chef de mission for the event.
