Indian army chief Singh's trip to Mustang postponed

BAGLUNG, July 12: Indian army chief General Bikram Singh’s scheduled trip to Mustang on Thursday has been postponed due to adverse weather.



Singh was scheduled to visit Nepal Army (NA)’s High Altitude Mountain Warfare School (HAMWS) in Jomsom and the Muktinath temple this morning. [break]



Colonel Ram Rana at the HAMWS informed about the postponement of Singh’s visit due to bad weather.



Singh is currently on a five-day official visit to Nepal at the invitation of his Nepali counterpart General Chhatraman Singh Gurung.
