Important agreements will be inked during PM Oli's China visit: Pokharel

KATHMANDU, Feb 26: CP-UML General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel has said that various important agreements would be signed with China during Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's China visit.

PM Oli, who recently returned home completing his first foreign visit to India since he assumed office, is likely to go for a visit to China in near future.


At a program organized by CP-UML Dang chapter at Lamahi, Dang Friday, leader Pokharel elaborated that the agreements with China on Transit, commerce, sustainable energy agreement and enhancing connectivity in borders between the two countries would be signed during the visit.

Stating that the CPN-UML led government was effortful to maintain a balance relations between India and China, Pokharel argued that the country was facing problems for its failure to maintaining balancerelations between these two neighbours.

On a different note, he said that CPN-UML was ready to move ahead together with other forces in favour of the new constituttion.

Pokharel underscored the formulation of various policies and programmes to head the country towards the path of self-reliance. RSS
