Gold price decreases by Rs 1,000

KATHMANDU, Nov. 2: Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers´ Association (NEGOSIDA) has fixed the price of hallmark gold at Rs. 59,500 per tola on Sunday. It was traded at Rs. 60,500 on Friday in the domestic market.



Similarly, worked gold was traded at Rs. 59,250 per tola on Sunday. It was traded at Rs. 59,250 on Friday.



Similarly, the NEGOSIDA determined the price of fine silver at Rs. 1,190 per tola decreasing Rs. 23 per tola as compared to Friday.



NEGOSIDA Chairman Tejratna Shakya said the price was decreased as the gold in the international market was traded at 1,712 US dollars per ounce decreasing 18 dollars from 1,730 dollars.
