Dhalkebar-Muzaffarpur transmission line inaugurated (with video)

KATHMANDU, Feb 20: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, currently in India tour, and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi jointly inaugurated the Dhalkebar-Muzaffarpur Cross-Border Transmission Line on Saturday.

The opening of the transmission line was announced during the meeting at Hyderabad House, New Delhi. Exchange upto some 1,200 MW electricity between two countries is possible through the transmission line.

Test transmission started on Wednesday and Nepal is currently importing 80 MW through the transmission line currently.
