At a programme in the capital today, Minister Pokharel added that the policy was needed to reform and to develop the education sector.
He further said that the Ministry is all set to withdraw the numeric evaluation system, replacing it with the letter grading system in the school leaving certificate (SLC) examination from this year.
Minister Pokharel also said that the government was making preparations to impart vocational education training to those students who fall under 'D' and 'E' grading.
He informed that about 8,000 school buildings were damaged and over 100,000 students badly affected by the April earthquake. RSS
