KATHMANDU, Nov 14: Chairman of the UCPN (Maoist) has given continuation to the discussion with the leader of the agitating Madhesi political parties. In this connection, he talked with Chairman of Tarai Madhesh Democratic Party, Mahanth Thakur, on Saturday.
In view of the responsibility given by the Friday meeting of the three big political parties to him to initiate convincing talks with the agitating Madheshi parties, Chairman Dahal, also the coordinator of high-level political coordination committee, discussed with leader Thakur on how the Madhesh problems could be resolved and people's life made easier.
During the discussion, issues as difficulty people were facing in daily life with acute shortage of essential supplies and the Madhesh agitation were raised during the discussion.
The two leaders have agreed to meet again on Sunday, according to Chairman Dahal's personal secretary, Chudamani Khadka.
The meeting was also attended by coordinator of the government talks team, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kamal Thapa. RSS
