KATHMANDU, Jan 27: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell by 42.58 points to 2,726.51 points today. Likewise, daily turnover stood at Rs 14.16 billion.
All sub-indices that came into trading pulled the market down. The finance sub-index fell the most by 2.44 percent. Along with the index, the transaction volume also declined.

On Monday, shares worth Rs 16.35 billion were traded in the market.
On Tuesday, investors of 224 companies incurred losses. Om Megashree Pharmaceuticals’ share price declined the most by 6.93 percent.
Share prices of 34 companies increased. Saptakoshi Development Bank’s share price rose the most by 8.56 percent.
Radhi Bidyut Company recorded the highest transaction amount with shares worth Rs 578.5 million traded. Similarly, shares of SY Panel worth Rs 576.8 million were bought and sold.
