Binoddhoj Khadka, program director for BFBS Gurkha Radio said: “This series honors some of our veterans who are in their 90s and still surviving in the remote hills of Nepal. It gives our forebears the opportunity to express the experiences they had away from their homeland during their youth. They talk about their comrades, the countries they visited and people they met -- all the things that left a lasting impression."
