KATHMANDU, Nov 8: Tribhuvan Army Club became the champion in the Fourth National Triathlon Championship held under the Seventh National Games in Kaski district on Saturday.
Army bagged four gold, three silver and two bronze medals. Rudra Katuwal claimed gold in standard section completing 1500m swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km race in 2 hours 29 minutes and 6 seconds.

Similarly, Army man Basanta Tharu claimed gold in sprint sections as he finished 750m swimming, 20km cycling and 5km race in 1 hour 15 minutes and 28 seconds.
In women sprint, Keshari Kumari of Army claimed gold as she clocked 1 hour 39 minutes and 10 seconds to finish the distance.
Meanwhile, Man Bahadur Thapa Magar of Army came first in duathlon of 5km race, 20km cycling and 2.5km race in men's section finishing the distance in 1 hour 12 minutes and 13 seconds, while Humi Budhathoki of Mid-western region bagged gold in women's section by completing the distance in 1 hour 38 minutes and 29 seconds.
