The gathering made it clear that promulgation of the new constitution through any other means but the Constituent Assembly (CA) will not be acceptable.
“If the parties agree on reviving the CA, differences on the state restructuring can be resolved through consensus among the parties,” a press statement issued after the gathering reads.
The report prepared by the state restructuring committee through the majority support should be considered baseline for delineating number of federal states and territories.
