MAHOTTARI, Jan 12: An eight-year-old minor, who was abducted on Sunday evening, has been found dead here in the district on Monday.
According to police, body of Chiranjibi Mahaseth, 8, son of Rabindra Mahaseth of Bhatauliya-2 found buried at Ekdanda of the district.

Rabindra, father of the deceased, has accused a group of youths of carrying out the act as he had a minor squabble with them previously on the issue of collecting donation for organizing a local Jhanda Mela (festival).
Mahaseth was the Chairman of the organizing committee of the Jhanda Mela.
Police have arrested two people in connection with the crime. One of the arrestees has been identified as Anish Sah, according to SP Janak Bhattarai, district police chief.
According to SP Bhattarai, four people perpetrated the crime in line with the direction of Sah.
The proposed Jhanda Mela was scheduled to he held in Mahottari on January 19.
