The tanker driver Uddhab Katuwal of Tanki Sinuwari, Morang, was fatally injured in the mishap and died while undergoing treatment at Birtamod-based Manmohan Memorial Community Hospital, according to police.
The tanker (Ko 1 Ga 3155) was heading to Biratnagar carrying milk when it fell some 50 meters down from the road after the brakes failed.
The drivers´ assistants Ganesh Mandal and Ganesh Yadav of Bandipur, Siraha, have been critically injured and are receiving medical treatment, the district police office, Ilam said.
