Youth Leadership Training 2010

KATHMANDU, Nov 17: Environmental Camps for Conservation Awareness (ECCA) Nepal is organizing a three-day training program entitled “Development Visioning and Facilitation” with the first Wise-use House, ECCA hall, Jwagal, Kupondol, Lalitpur as the venue.



The training program will be conducted in two phases each lasting for two days. The first phase will be held from November 26 to 28, and the second from December 10 to 12.[break]



According to the organizers, the training is aimed at honing the skills of the youth so as to help them lead change in the field of socio-economy and other development works.



The training is open to anyone between 18-30 years of age and studying at intermediate, bachelors and masters irrespective of their academic disciplines. Those working in any NGO and local clubs are also encouraged to apply.



The program is going to cover a wide range of themes including apprenticeship leadership, visioning, concept development, social responsibility, fund-raising, project implementation, monitoring and evaluation.



Prior registration with a fee of Rs 3,000 per participant is required for the training. The fee, among others, covers food, stationeries and resource materials.



The deadline for application for the first phase of training is set for November 21 and the second phase for December 5.
