In a meeting of the party parliamentary meeting held at the Constituent Assembly (CA) building New Baneshwor, leader Oli urged the ruling party Nepali Congress to be sensitive towards flaws in the budget, according to party lawmaker Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal.
Party lawmakers were also directed to present in the parliament meeting accordingly. While analyzing the budget, it seemed that the Congress dealt with unilaterally. The UML would move ahead by protesting this, he added.
The meeting discussed about merits and demerits of the budget that was presented at the Legislature-Parliament Tuesday.
Talking to media after the meeting, party leader Madhav Kumar Nepal argued that the budget reflected political color. It was brought even without open discussions with the ruling partner, he said, adding the party was hurt by this.
