They were intercepted during a regular checking of a passenger bus on Tuesday. They were heading towards Gaur, the district headquarters of Rautahat, when a team from the Area Police Office, Garuda caught them with the banned drug.
Those arrested are Pabitra Praja,30, of Bharta VDC-7 in Makwanpur and 15-year-old Seeta Praja and 12-year-old Sharmila Praja from the same locality, police said. The trio had reportedly fled after the police began the checking, but were arrested in a chase later.
