Six police personnel injured in Dolpa clash

DOLPA, Nov 3: Six police constables were injured in a clash that took place between police and YCL cadres in Dunai, the district headquarters of Dolpa on Saturday night.



The clash reportedly took place after the Young Communist League (YCL) cadres were asked by the police to not move around in groups at night.[break]



Following the clash, police had taken 49 YCL cadres into custody for necessary action.



They were released by a decision of the District Security Committee on Sunday after imposing a fine of Rs. 500 on each of them, Chief District Officer Srawan Kumar Timalsena said.
