Nepali community in US appeals for funds to send body home

KATHMANDU, March 30: The Nepali community in Caldwell College in New Jersey in the United States has appealed for funds to help send a dead Nepali student and his family to Nepal.



According to www.dcnepal.com, 23-year old Rahul Hamal, accounting major student at the Caldwell College, passed away on March 27. The cause of the death is not known yet.

He was being treated in the Intensive Care Unit at Moutainside Hospital, NJ, since March 8. The doctors could not diagnose his condition.



The website said family has been in Caldwell for almost three weeks now. The Nepali community has pleaded to all to support Rahul´s family in this time of bereavement.



It added that funds will be collected in one of Rahul´s friends´, Dixant Rai´s, Paypal account which will be donated to Rahul´s family.
