In the semifinal matches held on Sunday, Janak won their match 2-0 and Radhika crushed Arunodaya High School, Kathmandu, 4-0. Janak took an early lead through Tularam Dhami in the ninth minute and Aman Kumar Majhi doubled the score in the 60th minute.
In another match, a brace from Bhakta helped Radhika crush Arunodaya. Bhakta opened the score in the 20th minute and Rajin Dhimal doubled the advantage in the 51st minute. Likewise, Bhakta added another in the 57th minute and Suku Rai killed the match in the 79th minute.
The final will be played on Monday.
Taekwondo player ill
KATHMANDU, Aug 16: Nepal Olympic Committee Museum has appealed to all to extend support for the treatment of its member and eighth South Asian Games (SAG) silver medalist taekwondo player Manju Tuladhar.
Manju is said to be suffering from kidney failure. According to Dr Rajani Hada, Manju needs kidney dialysis twice a week and has undergone dialysis for six times so far.
