During his meeting with CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli at the UML Parliamentary Party Office in Singha Durbar, the Indian envoy stated that the Southern neighbor is looking forward to the enactment of new statue at the soonest by its neighbor.
During the meet that lasted for about an hour, Ambassador Rae put forward his queries on the constitution writing process, Oli told media person after the meet.
“He shared that India wishes that the new statute is promulgated soon,” Oli said, adding, “We discussed statute writing and issues of bilateral benefits.”
The UML Chairman further said that they discussed wide-ranging issues from Nepal-India relation to latest political developments.
Sources say envoy Rae also talked to Oli about the recent 16-point agreement among four political forces and other issues pertainign to constitution writing process.
