The IED suddenly went off while the UML election campaign was taking place in full swing at Khokling VDC, injuring three people, this afternoon. [break]
The injured in the blast have been taken to district hospital after a preliminary treatment at a local health post, said police.
The identity of the injured is yet to be ascertained.
A bomb disposal of the Nepal Army team had been deployed to the incident site after a suspicious object was noticed on early Saturday.
The police are launching a manhunt and investing into the incident.
