IED goes off in Kailali

KAILALI, May 5: An improvised explosive bomb (IED) went off near the office of Gauriganga municipality-10 on Saturday morning.

KAILALI, May 5: An improvised explosive bomb (IED) went off near the office of Gauriganga municipality-10 on Saturday morning. 



The explosion, however, did not cause any damages, according to District Police Office spokesperson Bir Bahadur Budhamagar. 


Likewise, a suspected object found near the Purwar Oil Store of Dhangadi Sub-metropolitan City was defused by the Nepali Army.

The incidents reportedly took place during the bandh called by Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN-Maoist. On Friday evening, police had arrested the party member Manu Nepal for taking out a torch rally. 


As a result of the bandh, public transportation as well as industries remain shut. RSS
