KATHMANDU, June 16: A partial solar eclipse is occurring coming Sunday.

This solar eclipse will be visible from Nepal on June 21 (day of dark moon also known as Aunshi). This partial eclipse will begin from 10:50 am on Sunday and will enter into the middle position at 12:38 pm and last until 2:23 pm.
According to the Calendar Determination Committee, it will last for three hours and 33 minutes. A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun.
