Last solar eclipse of 2024 to occur today

KATHMANDU, Oct 2: The last solar eclipse of 2024 is taking place today. According to Nepali time, today’s solar eclipse will begin at 9:27 PM and will set at 3:32 AM in the middle of the night.

Today’s solar eclipse is considered special because there will be a conjunction of the Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Ketu. The axis of Rahu and Ketu will be influential in the Pisces and Virgo zodiac signs. During this eclipse, the Sun, Mars, and Ketu will be prominent.

However, today’s solar eclipse will not be visible in Nepal. Today’s solar eclipse will be visible in the northern part of South America as well as the Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Arctic, Antarctica, Argentina Uruguay, Buenos Aires, Beqa Island, French Polynesia Ocean, southern Fiji of North America, New Chile, Brazil, Mexico and Peru.
