The dialysis patients are forced to arrange blood on their own. In-charge of Kidney Treatment Centre Shailendra Pandit shared that blood shortage surfaced as there have not been any blood donation programs after the enforcement of prohibitory orders.

“There used to be routine blood donation programs. But now the problem has come to a fore due to unavailability of blood for treatment”, he said, adding that patients are forced to find blood on their own.
