KATHMANDU, Dec 30: A group of demonstrators gathered in Maitighar Mandala, alleging that the government was responsible for the deaths of youths in the Balkumari incident.
The youths including Hemraj Thapa and others staged a protest at Maitighar Mandala, accusing the government of causing the deaths of youths in the Balkumari incident on Friday afternoon.

Two youths lost their lives in the Balkumari incident on the day of the EPS language exam. The protest escalated, leading the police to use tear gas to control the demonstrators. Subsequently, enraged youths vandalised public vehicles.
The agitating youths also set fire to the vehicle of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Prakash Jwala, intensifying tensions in the Balkumari area.
