YCL accuses Youth Force of firing at their rally

KATHMANDU, May 5: The Young Communist League (YCL) accused CPN-UML affiliated Youth Force* of firing at the rally of the Unified CPN (Maoist) at Sukuldokha, Bhaktapur on Wednesday morning.



Police confirmed that a round was fired but are unaware of other details.[break]



Deepshika, the YCL Bhaktapur co-ordinator, accused Youth Forum of trying to disperse the rally. “A group of six to eight fired at the rally and ran away,” he told News24 Television. “While escaping, they dropped a magazine.”



YCL has organized a press conference on Wednesday afternoon to inform about the incident.
