KATHMANDU, July 10: Nepal has been placed in Group B for the ICC T20 Asia and East Asia Regional Qualifier. The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the group division on Thursday. Alongside Nepal, Group B includes Kuwait and Japan.
The tournament features nine teams divided into three groups. Group A consists of UAE, Malaysia, and Qatar, while Group C includes Oman, Papua New Guinea, and Samoa.

The Asia and East Asia Qualifier will be held from October 10 to 17.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Six stage. From there, the top three teams will qualify for the World Cup.
According to the ICC, group stage matches will be held from October 8 to 10, followed by Super Six matches from October 12 to 17.
