KATHMANDU, Dec 27: Prime Minister KP Oli administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly-appointed vice chancellors (VCs) of three universities on Friday.
PM Oli administered the oath to Prof Dr Dhaneshwor Nepal, vice chancellor of Nepal Sanskrit University; Prof Dr Vedraj KC, vice chancellor of Pokhara University; and Prof Dr Sharada Thapaliya, vice chancellor of Agriculture and Forestry University, amid a ceremony held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.
Ex-VCs urge govt to depoliticize universities
PM Oli extended his best wishes to the newly appointed VCs for success during their tenure.
The event was attended by Pro-Chancellor and Minister for Education, Science and Technology Bidya Bhattarai, along with senior government officials and other guests.
