At a door-to-door program and election assembly organized at Chulachuli in Ilam on Friday, Nembang said that now no one could stop the UML from being the largest party.[break]
He said there is a guarantee that his party would be the largest power evident from the overall situation and added that promulgation of the new constitution would be easy after that.
Stating that talks and discussions with the poll-opposing parties were necessary, Nembang expressed the view that we can bring about radical change in the country if all of us unite.
Nembang requested the dissenting parties to participate in the Constituent Assembly election by withdrawing the general strike said to be organized by them from November 11.
He also urged the dissenting parties to express their views on the basis of democratic norms.
Saying the CA election was necessary to institutionalize the main achievements including federalism with identity, inclusion, democratic republic and secularism, Nembang said the main responsibility was to conclude the remaining CA task.
