Two-way traffic resumes on Prithvi Highway

TANAHUN, Sept 30: The Bimalnagar-Anbu Khaireni road section has been resumed in two-way direction after the removal of a huge boulder that fell on the road in Bimalnagar, Bandipur Rural Municipality, Tanahun, along the Prithvi Highway.

TANAHUN, Sept 30: The Bimalnagar-Anbu Khaireni road section has been resumed in two-way direction after the removal of a huge boulder that fell on the road in Bimalnagar, Bandipur Rural Municipality, Tanahun, along the Prithvi Highway.


On Sunday, only one-way traffic was resumed on the road after removing a part of the landslide caused by incessant rainfall. However, two-way traffic resumed Monday morning.

Vehicles were halted on the road for some time to remove the debris. Deepak Raya, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the District Police Office said that all the roads in the district have come into operation.
