Two missing, two injured in Bhotekoshi flood

SINDHUPALCHOK, July 7: Two construction workers went missing while two others sustained injuries due to flood triggered by incessant rainfall in Sindhupalchok district on Saturday night.

SINDHUPALCHOK, July 7: Two construction workers went missing while two others sustained injuries due to flood triggered by incessant rainfall in Sindhupalchok district on Saturday night.


Those who went missing are Yadab Kafle and Ram Autar Chaudhary, working with Chaku hydropower project in the district.

Police Inspector Yadav Thapa told Republica Online that they have intensified search operation. 


Likewise, two workers with Chaku hydropower project who were injured following the flood, have been airlifted to Kathmandu.  The duo have been undergoing treatment at Lalitpur-based B and B Hospital. 


Police Inspector Thapa said that they have yet to calculate the damage caused by the flood in Chaku hydropower project and Mid-bhotekoshi hydropower project and among others. 


Earlier on Friday, Mukti Siwakoti, an engineer went following the flood in the district.
