According to Sudeep Pathak, chief of Metropolitan Police Sector Office, Sankhu, the arrested have been identified as Ram Krishna Rokaya, 21, of Sindhukot VDC-2 and Surya Rokka, 20, of Fataksila VDC-1, Sindhupalchowk district. Inspector Pathak said the youths were arrested during a security check near the police post.
Police have recovered a socket bomb, three bullets of SLR, one bullet of 3.3 rifle, two detonators, fuse wire and other explosive from their bag. “We are carrying out further investigation,” said Inspector Pathak.
