JALESHWOR, Sept 28: Almost all rivers and streams in Mahottari district have been flooded, causing inundation at several settlements and land erosion. The incessant rainfall triggered floods in the Rato, Bighi, Jangha, Ankushi, Bhabsi, Geruki Kutmeshwori, Dholan and Marha streams.
The locals have been worried over the inundation.
The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that all rivers and streams in the district exceeded normal current, spreading alarm.
