Tusal climbed one spot to the top of the table with 25 points after playing its last league match, but it must wait for the result of the last match to be played between Boys Union Club and Swayambhu Club to know its fate. On Sunday, Dipesh Shrestha scored the decisive goal against Shree Kumari in the 15th minute. With the result, Shree Kumari finished with 17 points in the eighth position.
In the day´s early kick-off, Birgunj Youth Academy beat Shree Laligurans Sports Club 3-1 to wrap up its B division campaign in the fourth position.
Birgunj is level on 22 points with third-placed Samajik but lies behind on the basis of head-to-head record. Pulchowk finished in the 11th position with 10 points.
Ravi Kumar Paswan gave a third minute lead to Birgunj, the only team from outside the capital, with his seventh goal in the league. Shises Shrestha doubled the advantage in the 22nd minute and Chaturdhan Chaudhary made it 3-0 in the 32nd minute. Ajay Thapa Magar scored a consolation goal for Birgunj in the injury time.
In the last match of the day, Satdobato Youth Club defeated Samajik Youth Club 2-1 with early goals. Tanka Lama gave an eighth minute lead to Satdobato and Prem Gurung doubled the advantage in the 15th minute. Sabin KC scored the only goal for Samajik in the 20th minute.
Brigade is in the sixth position with 17 points after playing its last match of the league.
