KATHMANDU, Feb 6: The Office of the Controller of Examinations of Tribhuvan University has opened applications for the chance exam for old students. The application is available for Bachelor’s and Master’s level students who have not been able to take the chance exam since 2058 BS.
According to the notice issued by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, exam applications have been opened for candidates appearing for the first, second, third, and fourth years of the 3/4-year Bachelor’s level and the first and second years of the Master’s level.

Under the annual system, the application form for the chance examination for 4-year and 3-year Bachelor’s and Master’s levels under the Faculties of Humanities, Management, Education, Law, and Science & Technology has been opened for exams to be held in 2081 BS.
The application form must be submitted with the regular fee from February 6 to March 7. If the general deadline is missed, applicants can submit the form within one additional week by paying double the fee.
Earlier, a meeting held on October 6, 2024, chaired by the Tribhuvan University Examination Reform Committee and Professor Dr. Khadga KC, decided to arrange for the chance exam.
It was decided to conduct a one-time opportunity exam for students of the Institutes of Humanities and Social Sciences, Management, Education, Law, and Science & Technology under the annual system since 2058 BS and the semester system since 2069 BS.
Based on this decision, the Office of the Controller of Examinations has provided an opportunity for old students to take the chance exam.
