Guardian Micro Life's IPO debuts on NEPSE at Rs 301.02

The company's shares recorded an initial trading price jump from Rs 100.34 to Rs 301.02. Trading of the shares in the secondary market will commence from Sunday.

KATHMANDU, Feb 6:  Guardian Micro Life Insurance's Initial Public Offering (IPO) has been listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). 


The company's shares recorded an initial trading price jump from Rs 100.34 to Rs 301.02. Trading of the shares in the secondary market will commence from Sunday.

An agreement was signed between NEPSE and the insurance company on Thursday to list 7.5 million ordinary shares.


Of the total shares, 2.25 million units were issued to the general public, including Nepalis working abroad, collective investment funds, and company employees. The remaining 5.25 million units are allocated to promoters.
