Silver medalist of 10th South Asian Games, Ghimire of APF registered win over Kumar Thakuri of Kapilvastu as referee stopped the contest (RSC) due to injury in first round in the 69-kg weight category.

In the 49-kg weight category, Resham Bahadur Shahi of Nepal Army registered 17-12 win over Sanjay Prajapati of Bhaktapur to set up a title clash with Bikram Pariyar of APF, who beat Raj Kumar Maharjan of Kathmandu 9-3.
In the 52-kg weight category, Narendra Desar of Nepal Youth Boxing Group will meet Puran Rai as he received a walkover from Chandra Jyoti Thapa of Rukum.
Kabindra Maharjan of APF and Dipendra Bakuche of Nepal Army will face each other in the final of 56-kg weight category. Maharjan knocked out Jaya Ram Kharbuja in the first round of the match while Bakuche registered a narrow margin win (19-17) over Yogesh Gurung of Defense Club.
In the 60-kg weight category, Suman Lama of Nepal Police and Dipendra Shrestha of Makawanpur have secured places in the final. Lama bested Surendra Karki of Tikathali 19-4 while Shrestha beat Prem Kumar Rokka of Salyan by better individual score as the score was tied at 3-3.

In the 64-kg weight category, Gopal Sunuwar of Nepal Army and Bhupendra Thapa of Nepal Police will compete in the final. Sunuwar defeated Pravin Magaju of Bhaktapur 14-5 and Thapa beat Bikash Lama of APF 5-3. In 69-kg weight category, Bhupendra Bista meets Sushil Ghimire in the final. Bista defeated Sujan Thapa of Tarkeshwar 5-3.
Ghanashyam Buda of Nepal Army will meet Devendra Maharjan of APF in the final of 75-kg weight category. Buda secured an RSC win over Dilip Lama of APF due to Lama´s injury while Somit Khatri of Kathmandu lost to Maharjan in the first round.
In the 91-kg weight category, Satish Raj Bhandari of Kathmandu will face Ganesh Man Chaudhary of APF. Nischal Karki of Defense Club was bested by Bhandari while Chaudhary registered 11-6 win over Sita Ram BK of Nepal Army.
In the women´s 54-kg weight category, Nisha Tamang of Nepal Police faces Sanju Lama in the final. Tamang thrashed Minu Gurung of Nepal Army 23-10. In the 57-kg weight category, Pramila Pandey of APF entered the final beating Shilu Dangal of Nepal Army 12-5.
Winners of each category will receive Rs 5,000 while the runner-up will receive Rs 3,000 each. Likewise, each of the semifinalists will bag a purse of Rs 1,000.
