Hammock cable car, 360-degree swing, and tandem sky rope cycle launched in Sukute to draw more tourists

KATHMANDU, Oct 13: Sukute, a renowned tourist destination in Sindhupalchowk, has taken a bold step in Nepal's adventure sports scene by introducing thrilling activities such as the Hammock  and the 360-degree swing for the first time in the country.

KATHMANDU, Oct 13: Sukute, a renowned tourist destination in Sindhupalchowk, has taken a bold step in Nepal's adventure sports scene by introducing thrilling activities such as the Hammock  and the 360-degree swing for the first time in the country.


This unique 360-degree swing offers an exhilarating experience, allowing participants to spin freely while suspended in the air. It is proudly claimed to be a first-of-its-kind attraction in Nepal. In addition to these attractions, the company has inaugurated a 220-meter-long zip line that crosses the Bhote Kosi river, adding a dash of excitement to the adventure. Furthermore, an exhilarating 220-meter-long sky rope cycle, designed for individual and tandem use, has been put into operation.

Thrill Valley Pvt Ltd has made a substantial investment of approximately Rs 10 million to bring these thrilling adventures to Sukute. The venture was initiated by Mahendra Shrestha, Jakjan Khadka, and Raj KC, who are actively involved in the rafting business. The owner, Shrestha, expressed that the aim is to cater to adventure enthusiasts seeking unique experiences.


For those wondering about the cost, the resort has introduced special launch discounts for customers until the Tihar festival. The pricing is as follows: Rs 300 per person for the swing, Rs 300 per person for the cable car, Rs 1,000 per person for the sky bicycle, and Rs 1,500 for the double sky bicycle. Additionally, a fee of Rs 200 has been established for family ping and the Guleli swing.


Reaching Sukute is convenient, as it is located at a distance of 66 km from Kathmandu. Visitors can easily access Sukute via Dolalghat, using public or private transportation. The public bus fare from Kathmandu's bus park to Sukute is around Rs 300, while vehicles like Sumo can transport you to Sukute for Rs 500.
