SINDHUPALCHOK, Nov 27: The local administration in Sindhupalchok district has arranged three-tiers of security for the ballot boxes sealed with the mandate of the voters.
Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepal Army have been deployed to provide the security to the ballot boxes which were collected from across the district and have been kept in the building of District Agriculture Development Office.
The administration has declared a prohibited area to the surroundings of the building. To monitor the building round a clock, the administration has installed CCTV cameras, according to the chief election officer in the district Deepak Khanal.
Voter turnover in the district was recorded 70%. There are eight hundred 55 ballot boxes sealed.
