SINDHUPALCHOWK, Sept 13:The identities of all eleven dead bodies recovered from the landslide debris in Ghumthang village of Bahrabise Rural Municipality-7 in Sindhupalchowk district have been confirmed, according to Sindhupalchowk Police.
SINDHUPALCHOWK, Aug 15: The death toll in a massive landslide at Golche Lidi of Jugal Rural Municipality-2 has reached 12 with one more dead body recovered from the landslide debris. Twenty seven others are still missing in the landslide.

SINDHUPALCHOWK, July 14: Two employees including an engineer of the Melamchi Drinking Water Project have gone missing after being swept away by the Melamchi River when a water tunnel burst on Tuesday afternoon. Two others, who sustained injuries in the incident, were rescued immediately.
SINDHUPALCHOWK, Feb 24: A considerable number of public offices have been rebuilt in Chautara of Sindhupalchowk after four years of the devastating earthquake of 2015. According to the reconstruction authority, a total of 13 office buildings have been reconstructed while eight new ones have been built. A few hospital buildings and the district postal service building are yet to be built.
SINDHUPALCHOWK, Feb 1: Some women of the Majhi community in Badegaun of Sindhupalchowk district have built attractive houses all by themselves. The integrated settlement spread across some 24 ropanis of land near a jungle and the Indrawati River offers all basic facilities. The houses are uniform in shape, size and color.
SHIKHARPUR, MELAMCHI, Dec 25: Hari Majhi and Dipak Majhi, the two siblings of Shikharpur Village in Melamchi Municipality-12 are busy in making fishing net every morning. Their mother Kumari prepares breakfast for them so that they can go fishing in Indrawati river near their home. The Majhi brothers quit their school due to economic problems.
