KATHMANDU, May 1: Nepal’s Three Star Club beat India’s Mohun Bagan football team 2-1 in a one-off friendly at Dasharath Stadium, in Kathmandu, on Wednesday evening.
For Three Star Club, Jagjeet Shrestha and Adewumi Fami netted one goal each, while for the visiting team Dipendu Biswas scored the lone goal..All three goals were scored in the second half of the match.Today’s match is part of the Nepali club’s preparation for AFC President’s Cup qualifiers to be held in Kathmandu later this month.
