PARBAT, July 7: Three persons have gone missing when the Sundare rivulet of Kushma municipality-8 swept away a vehicle they were travelling to.
The vehicle belonging to Lama Construction, a company contracted for the construction of the Parbat section of the Mid-Hill Highway was swept away while crossing the swollen rivulet last night.

Among those missing in the incident include site in-charge engineer of the construction, Rajaram Acharya and vehicle driver Indra Tharu. Another missing person is yet to be identified, according to Police Inspector Rajendra Adhikari.
Although police personnel have intensified the search since 12.00 last night, the status of the missing persons is yet to be ascertained, he further informed.
It is said that the flood-fed rivulet also took away three houses in the district. However, the family members living in those houses narrowly escaped the life-threatening disaster.
